|The Kids Program are offered for boys and girls ages 6 – 12* and focus on Discipline, Confidence, Focus and Self-Control as well as learning the basic fist and foot techniques. Warm-up exercises, including jumping rope, help children burn some of their extra energy and instill the habit of regular cardiovascular exercise. Drills to learn the punching and kicking techniques build confidence and teach basic self-defense skills that can be invaluable as children grow up. Moreover, the classes are FUN and a chance to make new friends!
NOTE: This program is not for all children. Normally we offer a trial period to see if your child is able to focus, listen, and follow direction. If we feel the child is not able to do the program, we will ask the parents to try back again the next year.
*Adolescents, starting at age 13, can participate in the Youth Program.
